We want Little Legends to be useful to you. More features are being developed all the time based on people's requests, so if you think there's a Little Legends feature that could make things easier for you, do let us know!
Your own page, your way
As soon as you sign up, you get your own page. This is where all the bookmarks you make of places on this site are stored. You can organise them through your own "tags" - keywords that you find useful.
So you could tag places "for_babysitter". That way, you can easily print off a list of everywhere your babysitters should know about: late night chemists, good parks, your kids schools ... anything you think is useful.
Why not introduce yourself?
Make your presence felt
There are a number of ways you can let people know more about you. You can upload a picture you (whether it's actually you or just a picture you like). This gives you some identity around the site as it shows up next to the comments.
You can link to your blog, or website. And you can write a little bit about you.
All of this helps personalise the site. Why not express yourself a little?!
Postcodes and Privacy
Distances of bookmarked places from you
You can also add your postcode, whether it's the full postcode (e.g. SW1A 2BC) or just the first section (e.g. SW1A).
This allows us to do various things for you.
Distances of search results from you
We can immediately show you a map of your area; we can show you distances to other people using Little Legends, and we can show you the distance a place is away from you.
There are privacy issues of course, and we do take these seriously. If you're worried, though, simply don't add in your postcode.
We'd far rather you felt happy and secure!
