We are National Trust members and often come here to just let the children play in the playground which has bark chippings to soften any falls. There is a lovely little cafe there where you can buy snacks and drinks and ice-cream and a small shop selling little gifts. The main reason my children like going is the woodland walk and the fact that they can see the planes coming in to land at John Lennon Airport!
