If driving to St Ives, might be worth getting the park and ride as it stops just above the restaurant

On foot, from St Ives Harbour Front, head towards the lifeboat house, follow Lambeth walk past the the lifeboat house through the Warren, and Porthminster Beach is on the other side. Porthminster Café is the white building on the far side of the beach.

Went there over Easter for tea. Had a great feel to it, and was a welcome relief from the heft of St Ives proper. Food looked delicious, and what seemed a real bonus was that because it's right on the beach, parents can let kids play in the sand and keep an eye on them without leaving their tables.
