Excellent for older kids (7 plus) as they have a very wide range of subjects from dinosaurs through modern animals to clothes and guns and allow you to browse through drawers looking for things. Should have a more obvious route through for those who prefer order though. Great dinosaur footprints outside!

Definitely worth getting the annual pass to go more than twice a year. To do everything in a day would be knackering and mean a lot of queueing.

Good mixture of indoors and outdoors to cater for the English weather, but take wet-gear.

Safari park is very good - the boys enjoyed the monkeys climbing all over the car and lions coming so close. Got the impression that could be too busy on a peak day but well worth it if your children like animals.

The best outdoor activities place that I have been to as it has a very good range from trampolines and climbing wall to 'bumper boats', a digger sandpit and standard merry-go-rounds. Good farm park as well which allows kids to get close to animals safely (and ride horses). Also good indoor playpark if the weather breaks. It would be a fantastic choice for a birthday party although you would need a number of adults to control the children as the park is spread out. Staff are very good and calm.
